iGEM 2016

Join the iGEM-Team 2016

The iGEM competition is an annual, world wide, synthetic biology event aimed at undergraduate university students, as well as high school and graduate students. Multidisciplinary teams work all summer long to build genetically engineered systems using standard biological parts called Biobricks. iGEM teams work inside and outside the lab, creating sophisticated projects that strive to create a positive contribution to their communities and the world.

In 2016, the Research Training Group „Molecular Principles of Synthetic Biology“ (GRK2062) will support organization of iGEM. If you want to become a member of the iGEM-Team 2016 please send an e-mail with the following information to grk2062@bio.lmu.de:

  • your name and affiliation
  • field of study, number of semesters
  • motivation and special expertise for iGEM
  • deadline: October 25, 2015

Interested students will be invited to a first meeting.
